My Love - Your Alms

Will I pilgrimage through unknown worlds
That I might make your acquaintance?
Will I ply the waters of inner space?
Dismantling illusory walls.
Chemical keys,
Unlocking previously unseen doors.
Will this then win your favour?
Will I discover your heart,
As I renounce the world's oyster?
Can I come to know you,
While I hunger - at the banquet table?
Will plummeting three thousand feet,
Proclaim my faith?
Is the silence,
Twenty fathoms beneath the sea,
Enough that I might hear your name?
What is left but to dare to love you?
