Moon Dance

Black velvet the backdrop – pierced by celestial diamonds so bright

Accentuating awe and the mystery – through the stillness of the night

Souls join in a circle – pirouetting flames did invite

Unleash your burden – beneath full moon in mid-flight

Sacred each offering – eclectic the blend

Each heart –it’s own script - that was lovingly penned

Upon bended knee –Spirit’s embrace – no need to defend

Offerings soon in wispy spirals - to the heavens ascend

Nearby the surf - gently kissing the shore

The Mother’s symphony – sounds a refrain - no way to ignore

A feast for the senses – from Source then does pour

The chalice quickly filling - upon wings of Love soar

Each there inspired - by the divine hand

In a circle that formed - upon frost glazed sand

Soul’s yearning fed by each other – without nary a demand

Leaving nothing but footprints – waves will sweep from the land
