Dissonant the song - of each footfall
Failing to step in time - with an ancient call
No solaces in earthly pleasure find
Instead seek harmony with the one Great mind
Restore the temple – worship - through the altar of the
heart
Upon the world’s blank canvas – each life is then the art
Once caught surrender to grip - of the Divine snare
Every thought then becomes - a living breathing prayer
To travel on the sea to love - be sure to trim the sail
Can then stay the course and transcend – depths, of illusions
veil
No other way to freedom - relentless hunger quench
Then the end to anguish - from searching soul thus wrench?
May my form then render service - to that which remains unseen!
Fill the void of separation – bridge the spiritual ravine
With complete abandon offer love – to the greatest of all
Friends
Come home at last to find a peace – profound and never ends
